About Us
About the Founder
Remuda Media was founded by Clovis, New Mexico, native Kyla Jones, a marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in the western, agricultural and equine industries. Through Remuda Media, Jones specializes in strategic marketing, public relations, brand development and communications for regional and western-industry clients.
Jones spent nine years with the American Quarter Horse Association where she worked in communications and special events helping execute nationally recognized programs and industry events. She also served as the Marketing Director for the Lazy E Arena, one of the nation’s premier western sports and equine event venues.
Jones holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Media & Communications from West Texas A&M University and combines her professional expertise with lifelong involvement in the western industry. Jones was recognized as one of Cowgirl Magazine’s 30 Under 30 recipients in 2022 and continues to stay actively involved through leadership, volunteerism and event production across the equine and agricultural communities. She is an avid competitor in equine sporting activities, has coached 4-H horse judging teams, volunteers with local horse show boards and is an active member of Central Baptist Church and works with the CBC Media team.
In addition to operating Remuda Media, Jones and her husband are involved in their family cow-calf operation and horse breeding program in eastern New Mexico.
